Pineapple Cultivation
Ecological pineapple cultivation, from living soil to authentic fruit
Cultivation Guide
Victoria pineapple cultivation requires special attention at every stage of the process. Here is a guide to best practices to follow to achieve quality production.
First, it requires a warm and sunny tropical climate with ideal temperatures between 20 and 30 °C.
Additionally, to ensure quality production, the soil pH should ideally remain acidic, with a level between 4.5 and 5.6.
Furthermore, it requires high humidity and soil that is both well-drained and fertile. This soil should therefore be enriched with organic matter if necessary.
Finally, moderate but regular watering is essential, as are specific nutrient inputs such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium.

Soil Preparation
Pineapple thrives in light, well-drained, humus-rich, and fibrous soil, with exposure to sun and heat. This careful soil preparation is essential to ensure good root development.
Planting
Planting is done using suckers carefully selected from robust mother plants, ensuring they are properly spaced to encourage optimal growth and good aeration.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is necessary to ensure plant health and maximize yields. This includes irrigation, fertilization, and pest and disease control.
Harvest
Harvesting is done by hand, cutting the stalk just below the fruit when it reaches optimal maturity. Careful handling is essential to avoid damaging the fruits.
